Eggless Potato Kugel

Ingredients:

8 large potatoes

1 Onion

3/4  Cup of boiling oil

2 - 2.5 tsp of salt (depends on how salty you like it)

1/8 Tsp Pepper

 

Instructions:

Note: This recipe uses very large potatoes if you use smaller potatoes make sure to adjust the amount of salt accordingly.

 

Grate the onion and then the potatoes. Warm up the oil in the pan that you plan on using for the kugel.

When it is boiling pour it into the batter. Add the boiling water, salt and pepper.

Bake it on 350 till brown on top.

The best food processer is a Braun. The kugel blade will make the consistency the best.

If you are using the S blade or a different machine you might need to add a binder. Some people use Zuchini or potato starch.

This freezes beautifully.
