The below should be enough to feed at least 5 people.
Ingredients:
1 small onion chopped
2 potatoes cut into big cubes
2 to 3 pieces of club steak
1.5 cups of sushi rice
1.5 Tbs salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 Tbs onion powder
You can add whatever other spices that your diet allows
Directions:
Pour oil to thinly cover base of crockpot. Add chopped onion and cubed potatoes.
Add meat on top.
Add spices and water to cover all ingredients (around 7 to 8 cups of water)
Mix well
Cook on high for 5 hours, then add sushi rice. Keep crockpot on low until Shabbos day

i use brown rice in the cholent, and it does change the actual flavor of the cholent. does sushi rice taste better? and why sushi rice over reg rice?

Sushi rice is thicker and has a better consistency. it does taste better than regular rice. And it doesnt change the taste.

I never tried it but I would make it like you would make regular cholent in a pot and add the rice after a bunch of hours of cooking the meat and onions and potatoes. before shabbos make sure to keep it on a very little flame so it doesnt cook out.

I did try a rice in my cholent last SHABBOS and it kept Absorbing and growing. I shut off my crockpot for fear of it overflowing. What the sec of a good rice cholent. Can have beans or barleynanymore

Try putting in less rice next time and turn the croc pot on low so it doesnt absorb too much water so quickly
