Keep in mind this recipe takes an hour or so to make!
5 large Idaho Potatoes
1 onion
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup boiling water
Salt and pepper to taste (needs nice amount)
1. Heat up the bear indoor grill to the hottest
2. Put in the oil and let it get really hot
3. Grind up the onion and potatoes in a separate bowl and add salt and pepper
4. Pour mixture into bottom side of the heated grill and flatten. Do not close the grill. Leave it open for around 30-45 minutes until the bottom of the kugelatka gets crispy
5. Spray oil on the top side of the grill and then close it. Continue cooking for another 30-45 minutes until both sides are crispy. I sometimes flip the kugel about halfway through the process but its not required. If you do, use 2 spatulas so it's doesn't fall apart while you're flipping
