Gluten Free Granola Bars

Ingredients:

1/3 cup oil

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar 

2 T honey (opt)

1/2 tsp vanilla or vanilla sugar

1 cup flour (was tried with oat flour or Bobs 1-1)

1 tsp cinnamon (opt)

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 egg or ¼ cup applesauce to replace it

2 1/2 cups gluten free rice crispies

 

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and then add optional items such as craisins or mini chocolate chips

For thin bars, fill entire 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper. For thickers bars, use only half the pan

Bake on 350 for around 12 minutes then cut into squares

Bake for an additional 12-15 minutes then recut the lines
